Case study

The American Indian Community Development Corporation, located in Minneapolis, MN commissioned the First American Design Studio to do a study for a inter-tribal apartment complex.  This housing project is located just off the American Indian corridor along Bloomington Ave and 24th.  The intention for the project was to have the tribes in the region, partner in building an apartment complex focused on serving Tribal members.  By agreeing to lease so many units and then in turn leasing those units back to their Tribal members. Includes a parking garage, a community room, laundry and a mix of one, two & three bedroom apartments. The American Indian Community Development Corporation's mission is to provide culturally unique initiatives, housing and entrepreneurial programs that will strengthen American Indian communities.  http://www.aicdc-mn.org/
