Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce
Mike Laverdure is a board member of the Minnesota American Indian Chamber of Commerce and is a strong supporter of the mission of the chamber. Mike is spearheading a state-wide effort to implement a “Buy Indian” program between all of the 11 Tribes and Native American Business in Minnesota.

North Star AISES Alliance Professional Chapter
NSAAP is a professional chapter of the American Indian Science & Engineering Society. Mike Laverdure is a Sequoyah Fellow and has been a member since 1988. This professional organization made of STEM professionals mission is to support STEM careers in Native American communities and youth.
AICAE is a non-profit corporation established in 1976. Its membership is comprised of American Indian architecture, engineering, and design professionals through out the United States of America.
- Advance the role of American Indian professional engineers, architects and design professionals in practice and to advance their professional skills.
- Promote recognition of member’s professional excellence, service, projects and contributions.
- Encourage American Indians to pursue careers as professional engineers, architects, and design professionals.
